Ingredients:
- 2 cups of water
- ½ inch fresh ginger, grated
- 2 small garlic cloves, crushed
- ½ small onion, sliced
- ½ tsp turmeric powder or fresh turmeric
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 3–4 fresh guava leaves (or 1 tsp dried guava leaves)
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Instructions:
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Add all ingredients and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Strain and serve warm.
- Sweeten with honey if desired.
