For the Scallops:
1 lb sea scallops, patted dry π€
1 tablespoon olive oil π«
1 teaspoon paprika
Β½ teaspoon garlic powder π§
ΒΌ teaspoon salt π§
ΒΌ teaspoon black pepper
For the Spicy Cajun Cream Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter π§
2 cloves garlic, minced π§
1 cup heavy cream π₯
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning πΆοΈ
Β½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Β½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for extra spice!)
ΒΌ cup Parmesan cheese, grated π§

Instructions
1. Prep & Season the Scallops:
Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel to ensure a good sear.
In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Lightly coat the scallops with the spice mixture.
2. Sear the Scallops:
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Once hot, add the scallops in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
Sear for 2 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 1β2 minutes.
Remove from the skillet and set aside.
