Step by step preparation
1. Brown the herbs

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes, until soft and translucent.

Add the garlic and sauté for another 1 to 2 minutes, until fragrant.
2. Cook the cabbage

Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook for about 10 minutes, until it begins to soften.
3. Simmer

Pour in the broth , bring to a boil then reduce the heat.

Simmer for 20 minutes, until the cabbage is tender.
4. Mix and cream

Blend the soup (partially or completely depending on the desired texture).

Add the heavy cream and smoked paprika , mix well.

Season with salt and pepper .
5. Serve

Pour hot into bowls.

Garnish with some chopped fresh parsley 🌿.
