1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes

Directions
In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, sea salt, and black pepper.
Using a hand mixer or a whisk, whip the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the honey and red chili flakes. Microwave for about 20-30 seconds until the honey is warm and the chili flakes are incorporated. Stir well.
Transfer the whipped ricotta to a serving dish and create a small well in the center. Drizzle the hot honey over the top.
Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Variations & Tips
For a different flavor profile, try adding some minced garlic and fresh rosemary to the ricotta before whipping. If you prefer a milder heat, reduce the amount of chili flakes or opt for a milder chili powder. Additionally, you can substitute the honey with agave syrup or maple syrup for a different sweetness.
