  • 2 cups of water

  • ½ small onion, sliced
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder or fresh turmeric
  • 1 small cinnamon stick

  • 3–4 fresh guava leaves (or 1 tsp dried guava leaves)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add all ingredients and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Strain and serve warm.
  4. Sweeten with honey if desired.
