120 ml (1/2 cup)

Instructions
Step 1
Cut the bread into thick slices.
Step 2
Break the eggs into a bowl, then whisk with milk and season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Use a sharp knife to make a slit in a sandwich bread slice.
Step 4
Place a slice of cheese in a bread pocket.
Step 5
Soak bread slices in the egg mixture.
Step 6
Coat both sides.
Step 7
Melt some butter over medium-low heat and add the bread.
Step 8
Place the bread slices.
Step 9
Brown both sides of the toast.
Step 10
Remove the French toast with a slotted spoon.
Step 11
Serve and enjoy!
