Queen Elizabeth’s pancakes recipe: here’re to make them at home!

Ingredients
EGGS

CASTER SUGAR
50g (4 tbsp)
MILK
350ml (2 teacups)
ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
470g/3 cups (4 teacups)
SALT
2g (1/4 tsp)
BAKING SODA
10g (2 tsp)
CREAM OF TARTAR
15g (3 tsp)
BUTTER
30g (2 tbsp)
POWDERED SUGAR
Instructions
In a bowl add the eggs, sugar, and part of the milk and whisk until the sugar dissolves.

Step 1
Sift the flour into the bowl.

Step 2
Add the rest of the milk and continue to whisk.

Step 3
Add the salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar and mix until fully combined.

Step 4
Add the melted butter and stir through again.

Step 5
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Using a 1/3 measuring cup, pour the batter onto the pan.

Step 6
Cook the pancakes until bubbles start to form on top.

Step 7
Then flip, and continue to cook.

Step 8
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
