This rich potato and bacon soup is a delicious meal full of taste. It’s great for cold days and is a filling meal!
List of ingredients:
4 big brown potatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces.
6 pieces of bacon, cut into small pieces.
1 onion of medium size, chopped.
3 pieces of garlic, finely chopped
4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
1 cup of heavy cream (or milk for a lighter choice)
1 teaspoon of dried thyme (if desired)
Add salt and pepper according to your preference.
Sliced green onions or chives, to decorate
Chopped cheddar cheese, to sprinkle on top (if desired)
