Now this is a flavor profile I can get behind
1. In a small bowl, combine sriracha sauce, soy sauce, lime zest, lime juice, minced garlic, honey, ground cumin, salt, and pepper.
2. Rub the turkey tenderloin with olive oil, then place it in the slow cooker.
3. Pour the sriracha lime mixture over the turkey tenderloin, ensuring it’s well-coated.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the turkey is fully cooked and tender.
5. Once cooked, remove the turkey from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
6. Serve with your choice of sides and enjoy!
Variations & Tips
For a milder version, reduce the amount of sriracha or replace it with a milder hot sauce. If you prefer a sweeter flavor, adding a bit more honey can balance out the spice. For a fresh twist, garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions. And to make it a complete meal in one pot, add some chunks of sweet potato or bell peppers into the slow cooker with the turkey.
