Nestles House Toll Daeth by Chocolate Cake

This decadent Daeth by Chocolate Cake is a rich and intensely chocolatey treat that’s sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Devil’s Food Cake Mix 1 box
Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix 1 box (3.9 oz)
Eggs 5
Vanilla Extract 1 teaspoon
Oil 3/4 cup
Sour Cream or Buttermilk 1 cup
Coffee 3/4 cup
Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chips 2 cups

Instructions:

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the Devil’s Food Cake Mix and Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix.
  2. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, oil, sour cream (or buttermilk), and coffee.
  3. Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chips.
  5. Bake: Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Ganache Frosting (Optional)

 

  • Melt 1 tablespoon of salted butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Whisk in 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1/2 bag of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 3 tablespoons of milk, and 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts.
  • Heat gently until smooth and slightly thickened.
  • Serve the ganache warm over slices of the cooled cake.

Note: For an extra chocolatey kick, consider using dark chocolate chips. You can also adjust the baking time based on your oven and pan size.
