- Clean eggshells from 6-12 eggs
- A coffee grinder or a high-speed blender
Instructions:
- Clean the Eggshells: Rinse the eggshells thoroughly to remove any egg white or yolk residue. Boil them for a few minutes to sterilize and kill any bacteria.
- Dry the Eggshells: Lay the cleaned eggshells on a baking sheet and let them air dry completely. You can also dry them in the oven at a low temperature (about 200°F) for 10-15 minutes.
- Grind the Eggshells: Once dry, grind the eggshells into a fine powder using a coffee grinder or high-speed blender. The powder should be very fine to ensure it’s easy to consume.
- Store the Powder: Store the eggshell powder in an airtight container. It can be kept in a cool, dry place for several months.
