Beach Towel Backpack
Materials
1 large beach towel (approximately 30 x 60 inches)
2 yards of 1-inch wide nylon webbing or cotton straps
Matching thread
Sewing machine

Fold the beach towel in half lengthwise, aligning the edges neatly.
Cut two pieces of the nylon webbing or cotton straps, each about 24 inches long, for the backpack straps.
Pin the straps to the top corners of the folded towel, ensuring they are evenly spaced and aligned.
Using the sewing machine, sew the straps securely to the towel, reinforcing the stitching for durability.
Fold the towel in half again, this time widthwise, creating a pocket with the straps on the outside.
Sew along the sides of the towel, leaving the top open to form the backpack pocket.
Turn the towel inside out so the seams are hidden, and the straps are on the outside.
Adjust the straps to your desired length and sew the ends securely to the bottom corners of the towel.
Trim any excess thread and ensure all seams are reinforced for strength.
