KETO SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Cut chicken into cubes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Dip chicken pieces into beaten egg with fork allowing excess to drip off. Then toss each piece in the coconut and almond flour mixture to coat.
  4. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet and cook your chicken until browned but not cooked through.
  5. Place chicken in the prepared baking pan.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients including the sugar free maple syrup. Pour sauce evenly over the chicken.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes, spooning sauce over chicken once or twice during baking.

RECIPE NOTE

Tips & Tricks:

  • Avocado oil is great for frying up chicken. It stays stable while heated and is high in healthy fats.
