Measure and cut the cardboard to be at least 6 inches larger than your round mirror on all sides.
Place the mirror in the center of the cardboard and trace around it. Remove the mirror.
Carefully cut the plastic Easter eggs in half using a craft knife or scissors.
Start arranging the egg halves around the traced circle on the cardboard, leaving some space between each half for a bubble effect.
Once satisfied with the arrangement, use a hot glue gun to attach each egg half to the cardboard.
Apply gold leaf sheets to some of the egg halves randomly for a luxurious touch. Follow the instructions on the gold leaf packaging for best results.
After the gold leaf has been applied, cover your work area with a drop cloth or newspaper and wear protective gloves.
Spray paint the entire cardboard and egg halves with a metallic spray paint of your choice, ensuring an even coat.
Allow the paint to dry completely before handling.
Once dry, attach the mirror to the center of the cardboard using hot glue or a strong adhesive.
Hang your Gilded Bubble Mirror on the wall using appropriate wall mounting hardware.

Variations & Tips
For a different look, consider using silver or copper leaf instead of gold for a cooler or warmer tone. You can also experiment with different colors of metallic spray paint to match your existing decor. If you prefer a more subtle design, use fewer gold leaf sheets and focus on a single section of the mirror border. For a more eclectic style, paint some of the egg halves in contrasting colors before applying the metallic finish. Additionally, you can use different shapes or sizes of mirrors and adjust the cardboard and egg arrangement accordingly to fit your space.
