  1. Place each stove grate in a separate Ziploc bag.
  2. Add ammonia: Pour about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of ammonia into each bag. You don’t need to submerge the grates—the fumes do the work!
  3. Seal the bags tightly and let them sit overnight (8-12 hours).
  4. Remove and wipe clean: The grease and grime will wipe right off with minimal effort!
  5. Rinse and dry before placing them back on the stove.
