- In a large pot, combine the chicken broth and smoked ham hock. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add the chopped collard greens, stirring to ensure they are fully submerged in the broth.
- Cover the pot and reduce heat to low, letting the greens simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours, until tender and full of flavor.
- Remove the ham hock, shred any meat from the bone, and stir it back into the greens.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot and enjoy!
