How to Make One Pot Pasta
Step 1
Halve the cherry tomatoes, and thinly slice the onion and garlic. Place the linguine, tomatoes, onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, basil, and water into a large pot.
Step 2
Bring everything to a boil over high heat. Stir frequently using tongs to prevent the pasta from sticking together.
Continue boiling until the pasta is al dente and most of the water has evaporated, about 10 to 12 minutes. Remove the pot from heat and drizzle in the olive oil. Toss well to combine.
Step 3
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, top with fresh basil, and serve hot.
