How To Make Potato Rosti Fritters

Step 1
Prep the vegetables: Grate the peeled potatoes and squeeze out as much moisture as possible using a kitchen towel.

Mix the ingredients: In a bowl, combine grated potatoes with chopped shallot, ham, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and enough flour to bind the mixture.

Step 2
Form the fritters: Take small handfuls of the mix and shape into patties.

Fry: Heat a small amount of oil in a skillet. Fry each fritter over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, about 3–4 minutes per side.

Step 3
Drain and serve: Place on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve hot with a dipping sauce or salad.
