RECIPE INGREDIENTS

2 to 4 chicken breasts (boneless breast or thigh, your preference)
4 to 6 slices of cheese (cheddar, gouda, mozzarella, or your favorite)
6 to 8 slices of bacon
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic powder and sweet paprika (optional)
Olive oil (optional, for brushing)
Kitchen twine for tying
CHEESE-STUFFED CHICKEN ROLLS RECIPE PREPARATION
If the chicken breasts are very thick, lightly pound them with a kitchen mallet to flatten them.

Season to taste with salt and pepper and add garlic powder or paprika for more flavor.

Place the cheese slices on top of the chicken breasts.

Carefully roll them up, pressing firmly to ensure the cheese remains in the center.

Arrange the bacon slices on a cutting board, overlapping them slightly.

Place the chicken roll on top and wrap the bacon around it, making sure to cover it well.

Use kitchen string or a wire rack to hold the roll together and prevent it from collapsing during baking.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Place the rolls on a wire rack over a baking sheet (to render the fat and make them crispier).

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, turning halfway through if necessary.

If you prefer crispier bacon, increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) for the last 5 minutes.

Carefully remove the kitchen string.

Slice or serve whole with a side salad, potatoes, or rice.
