How to Make Fried Cheese Bread Slices

Step 1
Cook the potatoes in their skins until tender. Let them cool slightly, then peel and mash them into a smooth puree.

Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, egg, vegetable oil, salt, pepper, parsley, flour, and baking powder. Mix thoroughly until a soft dough forms.

Divide the dough into four equal parts. Roll each part into a flat cake approximately the size of your frying pan.

Place six slices of cheese on one rolled-out dough round. Cover with a second round and pinch the edges firmly to seal.
