How to Freeze Apple Donuts
To freeze, place cooled donuts in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until firm. Transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container. Freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through and crispy.

How to Make Apple Donuts
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Gradually add the milk, stirring until you have a smooth, lump-free batter. Cut the apples into round slices about 1/4 inch thick. Use a bottle cap or small cutter to remove the core from each slice.
Step 2
Dip the apple slices into the batter, making sure they are fully coated.
Step 3
Fry the apple slices in hot oil, flipping once, until golden brown on both sides.
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl. While still warm, coat the apple fritters in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
