Cook the Noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles
according to the package instructions. Drain
and set aside.
Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, cook the
ground beef with diced onion until browned.
Drain exXcess fat, then stir in BBQ sauce, diced
tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5
minutes.
Layer the Lasagna: In a greased baking dish,
layer 3 lasagna noodles, half of the beef
mixture, half the bacon, and 1 cup of cheddar
cheese. Repeat layers, ending with a final
|layer of noodles.
Top & Bake: Sprinkle the top with remaining
cheese and bacon. Cover with foil and bake
at 350°F (175C) for 30 minutes, removing
foil for the last 10 minutes to allow the
cheese to melt and turn golden.
Garnish & Serve: Let cool for 10 minutes, then
garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and
serving!
