Battered Fried Brussels Sprouts: the crispy, tasty side dish recipe

Ingredients
BRUSSELS SPROUTS
350 g
SALT
a pinch
FLOUR
120 g (1 cup)
SPARKLING WATER
150 ml (3/4 cup)
OIL FOR FRYING
Instructions

Step 1
Wash the Brussels sprouts and add them to the boiling water.

Step 2
Add the salt and boil for at least 10 minutes.

Step 3
Drain them.

Step 4
In a bowl add the flour, salt, and sparkling water.

Step 5
Mix well.

Step 6
Dip each Brussels sprout in the batter.

Step 7
Discard excess batter when pulling out Brussels sprouts.

Step 8
Transfer the brussels sprouts to hot oil and fry for about 3-5 minutes.

Step 9
Drain them.

Step 10
Serve battered fried Brussels sprouts when hot. Enjoy!
