“Football! That was a touchdown!”

His wife rolled over, puzzled.

“Touchdown,” he repeated with a grin. “I’m in the lead!”

Not wanting to be left out, his wife waited a moment, then let out her own toot and announced:
“Touchdown! Tie game!”

The husband smirked, fired off another one, and boasted:
“Aha! 14 to 7—I’m back ahead!”

Giggling, she responded with a dainty toot and said:
“Extra point! We’re tied again!”

Back and forth they went, each sound marking a new score. Soon, neither could keep track, because they were laughing too hard.
