Ingredients:

  • 500g bread flour (plus extra for dusting)
  • 300ml warm water
  • 7g dried yeast or 15g fresh yeast
  • 10g salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
     

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Dough:
      • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar. Make a well in the center.
      • Dissolve the yeast in warm water. Pour the yeast mixture into the well in the flour.
      • Add the olive oil.
      • Gradually mix the flour into the wet ingredients until it forms a sticky dough.
    2. Knead the Dough:
        • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface.
        • Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
