Discouraged by the inefficacy of fumigation, she developed a recipe using three everyday ingredients: an egg, a potato, and sugar, combined with boric acid—a powerful yet accessible component. She recommends using equal parts of the first three ingredients, then doubling the amount of boric acid to maximize the effect.

- Prepare the Base: Cook the egg (boiled or air-fried) and the potato (microwaved or boiled), then mash them together.
