Hearty Barley Soup with Beef

What you need:
1-pound cube-cut beef stew meat
1-tsp. of olive oil
1 sliced tiny onion
2 minced garlic cloves 2 peeled and sliced carrots
2 stalks of chopped celery
one cup of pearl barley
four cups of beef broth
Diced tomatoes, one can (14.5 oz.)
dried thyme, 1 teaspoon
1 milligram of rosemary, dried
As needed, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, or more if desired
2 glasses of water One bay leaf
Chop some fresh parsley for the garnish.
